I am excited to announce that Rheumatology Practice Management (RPM) will be providing a valuable new resource to our readers. Beginning in June, we will be featuring a Coding Corner section, with the goal of helping practice managers stay informed of pertinent issues concerning medical billing and coding, denials, and appeal protocols.
This new feature will be authored by Candice Fenildo, CHC, CPC, CPMA, CPC-I, CPB, CENTC, CRHC, AAPC Fellow, who I am pleased to announce has recently joined RPM as our newest Editorial Advisory Board member. Please read more about Candice’s vast experience in coding below and join me in welcoming her to the RPM board.
The National Organization of Rheumatology Managers (NORM) and RPM remain committed to keeping practice managers informed on events and issues that matter the most to them, including exciting news on the upcoming NORM Annual Conference, which will be held September 14-16, 2017, in Kansas City, MO; updates on health policy changes and advocacy efforts; and perspectives from experts in the field of rheumatology.
I also encourage our readers to stay connected online by visiting NORM’s website at www.normgroup.org, where members can check out the latest blog postings and participate in our new Community Forum.
